Google ni Yoruba?! Kini!?

Ok I am not Yoruba , but I found it at least impressive that google is actually offering a yoruba version of its services. Its not a new thing though since Ubuntu already offers Yoruba as a language pack. Which leads me to ask: "Igbo nko?"

Yay Its Here!!! (Not an emplyment letter tho)

This morning, I got up feeling rather dejected. Went to town to get some stuff done (read: job hunting). However, all hope is not lost, My copy of Hacking Exposed Windows Security Secrets and Solutions arrived this afternoon (woot!). I ordered it a couple of weeks ago after someone posted a challenge on boards.ie and I couldn't find a way to "0wn" the box. I already got a copy of XP running in Virtualbox on an Ubuntu host, so it could make for an exciting adventure.

A few weeks of exams and a couple of weeks hunting for a job. Thats why!!. The more annoying thing --> I haven't found a job yet (WTF) and speaking of exams, Leaving Cert results are out in 10 Days!!! (Definitely not looking forward to them)

Nokia Wireless Keyboard Utility

Okay For those that don't know, I own a Nokia 5700 running Symbian S60 v3.1 and since the twist on the phone is a bit screwed up-- the phone always seems to confuse Camera and Phone modes ARRRGGGHH!!. I needed a means of entering data into the phone. Then I remembered seeing this bad boy.on the download site on my phone . I quickly remembered my apple bluetooth keyboard, ( The one prince was trying to hack) downloaded the software and wham!! I txt like I code!!!! (VERY NICE)

My mac had to be turned off, so I could offload that connection and slap in the phone's

I have been involved in incidents recently where chkdsk was supposed to save the day but did it? NO!! Thanks Microsoft for making me look stupid @ school!!. A friend of my parents had a BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) and I was supposed to recover the UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_DRIVE.. CHKDSK /P or /R or even /I failed to even do anything, a full reinstall was needed in one case, and the other is still giving me headaches cause there's valuable data.. KNOPPIX Live CD, here I come!!

And now the meat of the day

I have always believed that there was a bug on my ADSL router,the one I blogged about earlier, and now I can confirm it!!.
I ran SPIKE on my OS X box against the router and wham i can't logon to the Allegro web server.
I was just fuzzing the http protocol and now, no service is responding. nmap reports that port 80 is open on the LAN facing side but can't figure It's an Allegro based Web Server. Now its up (after 10 minutes) and can't load the pages correctly!!.

More investigation later.. Its 3am now!! got to crash!

Ok now nmap says the port is closed!! WHAT!!! Got to do a full reboot!!
BTW The funny thing is that I can still access the internet even with the router's instability

However, a full reboot cured it. It might not have a been a buffer overflow after all
