And now the meat of the day

I have always believed that there was a bug on my ADSL router, the one I blogged about earlier, and now I can confirm it!!.
I ran SPIKE on my OS X box against the router and wham i can't logon to the Allegro web server.
I was just fuzzing the http protocol and now, no service is responding. nmap reports that port 80 is open on the LAN facing side but can't figure It's an Allegro based Web Server. Now its up (after 10 minutes) and can't load the pages correctly!!.

More investigation later.. Its 3am now!! got to crash!

Ok now nmap says the port is closed!! WHAT!!! Got to do a full reboot!!
BTW The funny thing is that I can still access the internet even with the router's instability

However, a full reboot cured it. It might not have a been a buffer overflow after all

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!

Okay This is to officially wish y'all a happy new year!!!

W00t!! we made it to 2008!
